I need a new transmission club

Here you go Fasel, your number 1. Joe, your number 2, I will take number 3.

Anyone else wants in, its really simple; You have to have a truck with a busted transmission, OR you have a replacement transmission and donate it to fix a current members. Any questions?

lol.. yes i have a busted tranny but not for long.. does that mean i get kicked out.. i can honestly say this is one club i am not a proud member of.. lol

well theres a very good chance my four speed is full of water, but it still functions. does that make me a member? lol

haha its on my to do list for this week, its hard to find time when you work second shift. i spend all my home time asleep. i wake up about 3 hors before i have to be there, and it takes me an hour to drive there. it doesnt leave me much time lol

Yay I'm in a club! And guess what? Me and my cousin pulled apart that 400 turbo and it was about 1 shift away from taking a crap! The clutchs where all worn down and grooved and my cousin told me they had to be replaced so now what do I do buy a rebuild kit for my 400 turbo or wait til probably thanksgiving to get my 700r4 back from this guy who loved to take his sweet butt time!!

the 700r4 has a better 1st gear in it.. but the 400 will probley be better for offroad because it doesnt have overdrive.. thats your call.. will it see more street then mud?

Yeah more then likely it will see more street then mud and yeah I do enjoy the OD

Thats why I havent replaced the 700R4 with a TH400, I want the overdrive.

Does it count if i need a tranny and have one but just too busy to have installed it yet??? LOL

as of this morning i am a member of this club lol i guess i going to pull mine for a rebuild next week

my s10 tranny doesnt have 2 or 4rth, and when i loaded it on the trailer this afternoon, 1st gear was making a terrible noise, am i in??? and if not, anyone with a bad tranny, want a 5 speed from a 4x4 s-10 that doesnt have 2,4, and a possible 1st gear problem???? ill donate it to you....

Yeah but I'm still number one and it's become a really irritating feeling I actually had some harsh words with the tranny guy over on friday and he told my to leave his shop and he'd call me when it was done and to not talk to him anymore. So it may get done quickly or it may not even get done at all now all I know is I'm sick and tired of waiting and I really need to learn how to rebuild transmissions so I don't have to wait on anyone to do it!!

That sucks dude. I hate waiting for parts too. Hopefully he will finish soon.

I'm hoping he'll finish it and not just toss it out into the scrape pile! It was a rather nasty conversation me and him had I didn't go into details about it because I had to keep it clean but to make a long story short I walked in on friday there wasn't a vehical in shop and he had a cold beer in his hand and I saw my tranny sitting on the tail shaft and the front pump was out and that was it and when I asked so it's almost done then he looked at it chuckled and said nah I've been really busy lately and haven't had time to mess with it... I looked around and said yeah you look real busy. And I'll let you use your imagination from there!!

Yeah so I really hope that I lite a fire under his butt and he gets it done just to get me out of his hair although this will be the last time I ever take anything to this guy!
