All I can say is you have to get a feel for it, that's the only to explain it. Match rpm's with road speed and only use the clutch for first and reverse. It takes a little practice and coordination, but once you got it, its easy. | |

| Leadfoot You sound like a truck driver buddy Sincro It's all about feathering the throttle to sincronize the transmission speed with the truck's speed. Then it will fall into gear. Not grind. Practice makes perfect. You can do it with almost anything. I do it with my wife's friends VW Jetta or my friends F150 Once you learn the princepal of it, it gets easier | |

| Wow that's crazy!!! Gotta love them twin sticks... I've driven oliver tractors that have twin sticks... A gear shifter and a hydro drive and direct drive shifter. I've also driven off road trucks that have auto trannies and a np205 twin stick with a np203 doubler... Those are fun to put in 4wd because the np 205 has 2hi and 2lo plus 4hi and 4lo plus if you've got the np203 doubler it's another gear reduction devise... ultimatly giving you a 4 spd tranfercase with a wicked crawl gear!!! | |
