| Buying new or throwing 10 grand at this one ???? Personally, I think your further a head to invest in this one. When your done, I think your gonna have a nicer and much better rig then an 2011. Plus A 2011 will still need improvements and accessories too $$$ | |

| That is a very good point, and I am glad I am not the only one who sees that. I just hate hearing from people I see/meet/talk to etc that I am throwing my money away because of the age of this rig. Frankly, it is in great shape. There is NO rust and motor is strong. It has some flaws in the paint and some dents and dings that I will address, but what 15 year old vehicle doesn't on average? Anyways, thank you sir for your support. | |

| to answer your last question.. the 97 viper i worked on didnt have one visible dent on it.. just a lil curb rash on the underside of the belly pan that when i did the exhuast i had taken care of.. lol..
but i am glad to hear you are gonna be investing as much money into this as i did the jimmy.. last time i checked i was in it for 8500 and when i stripped it down i got 2000 plus that 74 c10.. lol. no where near what i had into it but the memories alone were worth it.. who else can say they drove over a car at 40 mph and walked away.. the truck was never right after that and thats part of the reason i got rid of it but hey it was fun while it lasted.. ill help you out along the way as much as i can. my shop is always open if you need a place to install.. i would love to get my greasy hands on it.. lol

I said "on average".... a 97 dodge viper is not an "average" car! LMAO.... But I get your point.

| Hey Junior, I really like the Jeep man. Looks like you've got quite a bit of work to get it the way you want, but it'll be worth it. It makes me wish I would have kept my old XJ, lol.

| Well that is an understatement..... The more this things goes into the shop for simple matinence, the more I find it NEEDS....
I will get pics over the weekend, but before I can once again move forward with more accessories, I need to get it into the body shop. It seems I was wrong about the cancer issue..... The body is in perfect shape, OUTSIDE, but underneath, I have some seious growth on my floor boards. I did not think it was that bad, until my passanger seat became loose. Seems the rot has taken out the mounts for the seat....lol...
SOOOOOO.... in the next few weeks it is going in to a local shop. He is going to pull out my seats and carpet and weld in basically a new floor. Then he is going to power brush all the lose rust off the bottom and undercoat the entire Jeep to prevent this again in the future. Also, while he has it apart, i am going to have him spray the entire interior with that Spray on bed liner for sound deadening and waterproofing from above too....
So, this pushes off some things, but I still plan to have this thing hooked up and ready come spring. Once I get some more pictures, i will start a build thread. Starting from the begining when i bought it so we can all keep track of its progress....LOL
