sadly.. yes.. but it was starting to lock up as i pulled it onto the trailer.. it is off the white blazer i have had for months. the guy finally got up the money for a new motor and my labor fee's. i litterally filled 1 5 gallon bucket and an oil pan with the fluid i drained out of the oil plug. it was a nice oil/antifreeze mix. that was what was left in the pan still.. lol.. when i took the intake off the fluid was completely up past the balance shaft and the whole left cylinder bank was filled as well.. no leaks on the outside though..

tomorrow is the day.. im gonna pull the k10 into the shop and start to tinker with it a little.. one thing that did bother me about it and i had to go look was the fact that it had center bolt heads on it from a 90s 5.7 but i remebered seeing a mechanical fuel pump as well so i went down the yard to have a look see.. so yeah someone really messed this truck up.. it has newer heads, an older block and a carb intake and double barrel carb.. i was wondering why it had almost no power to drive up the trailer but now im understanding why.. IT HAS darn NEAR NO COMPRESSION. im not gonna even bother with the motor thats in it because i have a mild 327 sitting in the back of my shop

here are some better pictures of my k10. not much to look at but atleast she is up and running. i played with the distibutor a little and got it to run a little better but it still has a knock in the bottom end. its got really low compression in each cylinder. 80 pounds.. lol.. but now it will atleast go 60mph down the highway.

im sure yall are wondering about the trailblazer on the trailer.. here she is in all her blown up glory.. lol.. notice the front diff that goes through the oil pan.. yeah that was fun.. had to take the axles out on each side and then the front driveshaft.. hopefull there will be enough clearance to pull the diff out with the motor..

had a little more fun with the dakota 5.9 r/t today. put an intake, exhuast and got a nice cervani dual scoop hood for it. it sounds wicked sick for a basically stock motor.
the owner of the truck is bidding on a viper v10 motor on ebay right now so if he wins it thats the next major build out of 215th but if he doesnt win one for a decent price then we are gonna build up the 5.9 instead. eather way he wants to be able to keep up with my c10 but i wont let that happen without a fight.. lol.

yeah its gonna move even better when we are done. he is the big chysler guy so he knows where and what to get for it. soon as his income tax check comes in its getting pained, chrome r/t wheels, and either the 5.9 built up or the viper motor if he wins one on ebay. we shall see.

ok now that the weather has broke and the owner of the hillbilly jeep got some cash flow i started moving forward again on it..
im right where i left off prior to winter. engine is in the truck and the driveshafts are in.. for the last 3 days i have been tryin to figure out how to wire the b*tch.. i got home from the shop last night around 3am.. i litterally just printed out the pinout diagrams i needed.. you cant imagine how hard it is to find info on this swap as far as diy wiring.. specially considering im going from obd1 to obd11.. i was originally gonna try to use the 98 durango relay/fuse box but the more and more i looked at it the more my confidence dropped.. lol.. back to square one i went and the chiltons werent cutting it.. now i have all the info i need so hopefully by monday ill have a nice youtube video of it firing up.. the only problem i think im gonna have is the clusters and obd11 port.. we shall see though..

its almost alive.. she was crankin tonight and puttering. the motor hasnt been turned over in 2 years so the lifters need to be pumped up still but there was a spark of hope in my eye.. i was just using starter fluid to prime it cause i still gotta do the fuel system but as long as i hear it fire up a little bit ill be happy.. lol

its never ending with this jeep.. did all the final wiring and fuel system plumbing and somehow i activated the vvts system.. basically like passlock for mopars.. the thing is without the bcm i cant de-activated it.. im gonna try to hook up the ecu to my buddies dakota r/t and see if i can do it that way.. we shall see.. right now it fires up for a few seconds and then the inectors turn off.. if i put gas down the TB it will stay running so i know its now a sensor problem or fuel pump issue.. when i tested the injectors they turned off right before it lost power.. STUPID JEEP... lol

For the record, I CARE. I have really enjoyed the progress on this beast. I cannot wait to see it all done, together, and out side flexing...LOL....
And then you have to give it back, right? LOL

unfortunitly yes i have to give it back.. fortunitly thought i was on a steep learning curve with this one so when i buy "something" i can put another 5.9 in it.. i would prefer a wrangler but i might have to look for another blown up WJ.. lol.
