| I HATE FORDS.... PERIOD... and never do a favor for a friend no matter how stupid you think it is.. buddy of mine has a 95 thunderbird SC.. last week i replaced the upper control arms cause the balljoints are non servicable as well as the tie rods and the passenger side hub.. then yesterday he calls me up cause he is stuck inside his car.. door wouldnt open on the driverside.. so i went to his work and saw that the striker plate was busted off and needed to be welded back on.. no big deal right.. WRONG.. apperently its been like that for some time cause i had to tack it into place then put a peice of scrap plate behind it and weld that to it and then weld the outside to that.. needless to say what i thought was gonna be a 10 min job turned into a all day event.. the door was sagging really bad so i replaced the door pins and now something is still wrong with the latch so im replaceing that tomorrow.. | |

Ends up you doing most of the lifting and it takes most of Sunday to get it done. And for what?
I feel for yeah Joe. | |

| got rid of a 90k headache today.. well not so much a headache but just didnt want it around my shop anymore.. its been done and out of the paint booth for over a week now and the guy just hadnt picked it up.. i was happy to see the viper leave but ill be getting it back next week when the new tires come in.. since i got rid of the 74 c10 i felt a void so i picked up a 99 s10 from the junkyard for couple hundred bucks.. it WAS running and driving.. till i got it home.. lol.. it had the lil 2.2 liter in it and it was weak and beat up.. lol.. it only took one short ride to kill the motor.. i already have plans for a 5.3 swap and a little lowering kit.. its gonna be a daily since the red truck is gonna be the track monster now.. ill post some pics of the s10 tomorrow when i get home.. i gotta get crackin on the big jeep motor swap tomorrow.. hopefully by dinner time ill have the 318 set into the jeep.. | |

| nope... maybe someday it will get a sas and bob but untill i wanna build another trail truck ill keep it 2wd.. if the guage illumintation worked i would be able to tell you the exact mileage but the last time it was inspected it had 480k on the ticker.. lol.. it was a local parts delivery truck in an earlier life so im sure its seen its share of the roads around here.. all in all its a pretty good truck though.. clean atleast.. | |

| lol.. whys that.. tomorrow the motor should be all mounted up.. i only have a few more days to get it done.. like i said the only problem is gonna be finding the power wires for the ecu but i found online its only 3 wires that i need to make hot with the ignition on.. im thinkin about just mounting the dodge relay panel in the truck and taking out the stuff i dont need like the wiper relay, abs, headlights, etc... | |

| its a yj but no the 6.0 motor and trans is for the mustang.. the heads, intake and TB are for the 6.0 firebird.. both are gonna have the same cam, crank, rods and pistons so once both are together we are gonna dyno them to see what makes more power.. carb or fuel injection.. they should be really close though.. both around 700-800 hp.. lol..
as far as the YJ goes im having a little trouble with the wiring.. tomorrow im headed up to the tech school my buddies dad works at and he is gonna do the harness for us.. he worked at chysler for centuries as a tech teacher so he knows them inside and out.. chysler still calls him when they have any major troubles but he is retired from there.. hopefully by the weekend it will be all together and then i can get paid and the owner can start doing the office in the shop.. cant wait to have A/C in there.. lol | |
