What did you use as a power source for the lights?

Not quite sure what you mean as a power source for my lights. Ummm my 12vdc batteries in the truck will be my power source. Sorry if that sounds so..... Dahhh
The lights have 22 LED lights each and are the independent Amber strobes for snow removal

I think he was asking where you ran the wire to get juice to the lights.

Exactly. How did you get the power from the batteries to the lights?

robert, I dont think he has run the wires yet since he said that his 12vdc batteries WILL be his power source, and not that the ARE his power source.

LOL Oh !!! Sorry I didn't understand... my fault. LOL Ya.. I haven't run the wires yet. a lil busy this Victoria Day long weekend But I was planning on drilling a hole in the floor just at the base of the back wall, below the back window. That's were the flasher controler will mount. Then running the switched power source wires under the carpet to the dash for the dash mount switch and the power supply from an available position on the fuse panel.

I got a couple of treats in the mail for my truck. I have to paint the three gauge pill pod first before I install it. but I just had to share it with ya first. Still saving for a couple of more gauges.

why the pillar pods and not the dash pod.. they even make pods that you take out a vent and mount it there.. the pillar pods bring unneeded attention to your truck imo.. i like more of a sneeky setup..

I like the pillar pod. The in dash ones for the 07+ limit you to a max of 2 gauges. With the 3 pod I still may do an in dash gauge set up so I can monitor axle temps.
I just realized this gauge is no good to me. It's more for a gasser. I'm gonna need a gauge that monitors a better than 35 psi boost.
I'll just give this gauge to my son as a Bday gift next month

I'm not sure... I think I'm making around 19 lbs or 20 lbs of boost at stock. But I was told to get prepared to make up to 35 lbs of boost with EFILive, but that's only gonna be after the tranni mods

i would just use that one for the time being.. all you need to do is tap into the intake or intercooler piping.. then when you are ready to upgrade the guage all you need to do is unscrew the fitting on the guage and hook up the new one.. least you wont have to run the line again.. i might suggest putting a dimmer on the light for the guages thought cause sometimes at night they can get on your last nerve during long highway drives..
what other guages are you putting in there.. trans temp and air intake temp would be good ones..

Very nice truck, Glenn. I really like the headache rack. I'm still undecided on installing my rack (which is similar to your first pick, only slightly taller, steel, and black), or getting a topper. A topper would be so much better for me, but I just love the looks of headache racks (well, except the one I got, lol).
What kind of plow are you installing on the truck?

Thanks Jimmeh I'm looking at a few different styles of plows. I want one that I don't have to cut my lower valance under the bumper. So far The Boss plow is the one

A bone stock Duramax (VVT turbo) will make around 28psi. Without turbo mods they can make upwards of 40psi by changing the tune. A fixed turbo is running around 25psi without mods but with one simple change can be making the same 40psi.
At John, as much as I like the 7.3L, they do not like high boost like the newer 6.0/6.4/6.7. The reason is the heads. Those 2 valves just cant flow like the newer ones 4 valve design.

Well I just love my truck's new look... I was tempted to post these pictures in the SHOW TRUCK thread LOL
I found an awesome deal on a set of 4 American Racing Rims, they are the Dale Earnhart Jr Signature Series. The set of rims came with 4 Toyo All Terrain Grapples (6 months old )

One thing I noticed that looks kinda out of place are the sport mirrors. They look good, but a 3/4 ton needs some tow mirrors....
