| Ok, lets try this again;
Along the same lines of the other thread. If someone who didnt know about engines went to buy a Gasoline engined truck, what pros and cons should they know about? Well. Lets discuss them.
EDIT; I need the off topic banter to stay out of this thread. Off topic posts will be removed.
I am hoping we can put together an real informative comparison. Input and questions are welcome from all. Thank you!

I can buy a programmer for my Silverado to add 300HP in an instant. If I wanted to add 300HP to my Suburban, your talking heads, camshaft, headers, tune, etc... So how is that cheaper?

| Again, from my experience;
Pros; Fuel availability Cold weather performance Lower initial price
Cons; Lower fuel economy No Multifuel ability Lower resale value

Ever heard of the word corrosion? - Quote :
- One of the drawbacks of methanol as a fuel is its corrosivity to some metals, including aluminium. Methanol, although a weak acid, attacks the oxide coating that normally protects the aluminium from corrosion.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MethanolThere is a reason they use Ethanol as an additive in fuel and not Methanol. When I say Multifuel ability, I mean the ability to run a fuel for long periods of time, not just as a additive.
