| what year is your 454... i had the same power steering resivour when i bought mine and i thought it was aftermarket... needless to say i put a 77 powersteering pump on it to get rid of it... it was zip tied to my coolant hose.. kinda ghetto and thats why i ditched it.. cleaned my engine bay up some when i did that too... | |

| thanx.. my favorite is the litte decal on the firewall.. i need a rat one though.. it would suite the motor so much better from what im told.. apperently they use to call the old 454 rat motors
that yellow turd is gonna have one just like it soon.. maybe not as much work done but it will look the part.. lol.. and with a choped and channeled body it might even stick out of the hood a little.. lol

| Dam joe those are nice pics!! And I'm in the same boat as chris my 5.7L is nothing much to look at... chrome valve covers and an open element K&N are the extent of what I've done so far much more will be done within the nice 6 to 8 months but for now it's mostly a normal mud covered 350!! | |

you've got me beat with the valve covers lol.. my 4.3 is just dirty, not even muddy anymore haha that's great!!! Yeah there was one day I went to the local car wash I used to for and my old co worker and I started spraying it off and I popped the hood to clean up the motor and the truck was still running in the wash bay and this guy doesn't know anything about trucks or cars so I pop the hood and the very first thing he sprays with the pressure washer was my open element air cleaner... The truck spit and sputtered then died I was mad and the manager rob was pissed because then we had to let the truck sit for like 10 mins with the air cleaner off and the throttle held open to air it out... Yeah that was the last time I wahed my motor!!! lol

| Yeah I know but when you go wheeling and the next day you notice you have like no power and you pop the hood and there's so much mud under your hood that your open element air filter is completly covered in mud to the point that you can barelysee the folds in the air filter then it's time to wash the engine!! lol | |
