my snow pushin murray

The murray started life with a 12 horse flathead B&S and a 38" mowing deck. Since then that motor has blown up and the deck has been removed. It sat for a couple years untill i got the genius idea of putting a 4 horse flathead briggs in it off a murray push mower. I ran that for a while, but it was wore out when i put it in, and even moreso when I decided to take it out. I replaced it with a OHV single cylinder 16 horse briggs that i picked up for free. I drove it down the driveway and about halfway back the new engine decided to blow up. About a week later I picked up a new motor identical to the old one. The internals in this one supposedly only have about 10 minutes of run time on them. I swapped the carb and starter from the blown up motor, and now have one sweet running motor with lots of low down torque.

That is one sweet tractor. Nice setup. Any pictures of it in action?

And one thing I got to ask, what happened to the headlight(s)?

well the whole unit fell out one day and landed on the exhaust and got melted.

Havent had hardly enough snow to plow yet. We finally got enough to push today, but i gotta fix an oil leak first. Ill get some pics when i push that if the wind dont blow it away first lol

Shes gettin a workout today. Probly tomorrow two if the wind and snow keep up. I was doin pretty good pushin about 18 inch drifts with no weight in the back, but i got up to about 2ft of snow and decided to throw some weight on her. Now she walks right through anything without spinnin a wheel. pretty much loose all steering at that point tho lol

i don't do that either.. i just dump hot water on it and throw salt on top of that when it freezes lol

i hope some old lady breaks her back and sues your butt.. lol

some old lady has bigger problems if she slips on the melting ice.. me with a baseball ball, asking her why the eff she's in my driveway, slipping on my melting ice hahahaha
