| It's not a 454 I still don't know what it is, but it's not a 454. The 2 center exhaust ports so close together Threaded plugs on the front of the heads says it's not. some kind of a Small block. What ya think? | |

| ya no kidding eh? look at the difference, simply in the valve covers in the snowblower and your pic. Snowblower is definitely a small block. STILL ... small blk or big blk... very cool snowblower LOL | |

| a freind had it for his kids the day before and didnt return it. i kept it in first gear and only went around the block so they stoped buggin me to ride..
on a better note i just made 25 bucks off some stupid kid that got his outback stuck in the same feild.. he didnt know how to drive on ice and slid right into the feild. all i had to do was put it in drive/reverse a few times.. lol | |

| Ok well to get back on topic as stated above it's clearly not a 454! Also I see there is an axle pig in the auger area great idea as I'm sure there is probably a lincoln locker in there however the absence of axle tubes leads me to believe that he has some other form of seal in places to retain the gear oil. Also as it seems the motor is front mounted as the water pump is seen on the front of the block so where does this driveline attach to the motor? More then likely it attaches to the crank shaft pulley but also I would like to assume that with the wieght of the auger and the unbalencedness of rotating auger blades I'm sure that it's putting quite abit of stress on the crank esp. if there is no balancer on the front of the motor but that may even add more stress because the auger could be offset the balance of the crankshaft and balancer. Now I could be completely as$ backwards in thinking this way but I just don't seen it working. | |

| I dont think its photoshopped, it looks very real to me. I beleive Fasel is right, it looks like the auger is driven off a pulley system using the front balancer. | |

| Yeah I don't think it's doctored I just think that running the auger off the front off the motor is dumb I mean it wouldn't be that hard to fab up a custom bracket and make a short like driveshaft and put the motor on the other way and run the auger off the flywheel instead of the crank pulley it would just make alittle more sence to me but like I said I could be as$ backwards in thinking this! | |

| if it is real, it could be driven off the flywheel with some kind of modified clutch/tcase package.. who knows, it's hard to tell by looking at a 1x1 picture lol | |

| Yeah that's for sure but yeah a flywheel and clutch out of a manual transmission vehical would work great! | |
