Winter Contest

Lets have some fun, shall we?


As Winter fast approaches, many of us have to look forward to that white stuff someone once decided to name SNOW. Starting now, and running until the first day fo spring, (March 22nd, 2010) My Truck Source.com would like to invite everyone to join in and enjoy our trucks!

Regardless of if you live in Florida, or Alaska, winter does change the climate. What we are looking for are your best pictures of your pride and joy posed in what you consider a winter scene. Pictures must be taken between now and Febuary 14th 2010 and posted here on this thread! The forum staff will then chose the top ten contestants and the voting will begin on Febuary 16th 2010 and will end on March 20th 2010. The winner of the contest will be announced, along with the prize he/she won, on March 21st, 2010 and featured on our portal begining March 22nd, 2010 until April 30th, 2010! The feature on the portal will include a slide show of pictures and a write up from the winner. So remember, if you win, you will need to make sure there are at least five pictures of your baby and a full description of of your ride availible to the forum staff for posting on the 22nd of March.


Pictures can be posted here in this thread. Please keep the discussions down to a minimum. If anyone needs help uploading their pics, please let me know. This contest is FREE and open to EVERYONE! By posting your picture, you agree to enter the contest, and make availible the above requests.

SOOOO... lets have some fun shall we? Whatever winter means to you and your truck, lets see it!

IN Addition to the rules and guidelines set in the above post, our forum staff is excluded from this contest. So the only three people that cannot enter their trucks for the winter contest are myself, 007jimmy and merlin5577. This does not mean we cannot share pics of our trucks this winter, just will not be considered for the contest.

Alright guys, February 14th is coming up fast. Dont forget to take those pictures!

Just to clarify; this competition is not limited to only pickup trucks. SUVs, Farm Tractors, Dump Trucks, etc... can all enter. Basically, if it has a frame, wheels, and can move under its own power, its eligible, so get those cameras out and start taking pictures! Good luck everyone.

ok guys, heres my f-ing winter, right now its 39 degrees, with cold cold rain, i took these pics of my truck at my dads work, spun the tires a little on the way there without noticing how light the back of the truck really is, so i put it in first a stop sign, let go of the clutch while pressing the gas and fish-tailed it, first time driving in the rain, lol

forgot these 2, this is pics of the FROST on my ranger the other morning, i took a snap shot cuz nobody will believe that where i live it ges below 70 degrees, its 31 degrees hen this happened.

Eric, I get that worm fuzzy feeling knowing that our Snow Birds (from up here now in Florida) are getting a taste of what we're getting up here.
Next time you get that again (frost), Dare someone to touch their tongue to your chrome mirror. LOL

here is what i came home to yesterday, because i took my wifes truck to work due to the snow! no snow in the pics but salt and sand all over my truck sounds like winter to me

You can onlu have 6 characters on truck plates in IL. So thats whats i got. Jus i hope ppl knows there should be and O in there not an E.

LOL you should give parallel parkin my land yacht a try. 90% of the time I back into parkin spots cus its so much easier than trying to pull forward into a tight spot.

Guys, please keep this on topic. Plenty of space for bashing bad parkers in the chit-chat section.
