| That looks like galvanized barn metal. It is my understanding that anything galvanized will produce some nasty fumes when welded. Not good for you to breathe that stuff. For the next rust hole patches, measure the size of patch you need and go to a sheet metal/ Heating, A/C shop and get some 20 or 22 gauge cold rolled metal. They might even give you some scraps if they have some.......If you were located nearer to me I would give some cold rolled scraps.... Oh and what did you use to spread the bondo? your fingers?........

| looks better then my first attempt. As a suggestion, a plastic bowl scraper works wonders to help smooth it out. | |

| That's great and yes galvenized does give off some pretty nasty fumes however it does take couple minutes of straight inhalation to be harmful... I doubt off the little welding you did that you even felt anything at all... Now for future references if you do start to feel bad after inhaling fumes from welding galvinized steel jst get fresh air drink about a quart of milk and just relax for a bit... I'm not sure what the milk does to help but I was told by a career galvinized welder that that's what you do and if it's terribly bad then of course seek medical attention!!!! | |

| I doubt the hole will be twice as big, but if the bondo falls off, Ive only got 9 bucks invested so its not a big deal. One of these days ill find a whole body off another truck and swap it on. | |
