Say guys my A/C stopped cooling well I trought it was the compressor but it turned out to be the condensor coil has a leak. Well my brother had his A/C man look for one and he got me a SUPER deal a new Train 3.5 ton unit with a new drier and electronic stat im driving 200 miles to pick it up but it's well worth it since my brother is picking up the tab. My brother has helped me a lot I guess that's why GOD blesses him so much.
Be good! GMC Very Happy

Congrats on the ac!! Something that always got me was why do they refer to them a tonage units? I don't have any knowledge of ac units so I was just wondering!

It's an Americanism.

In SI units, a 3.5ton A/C is 42,000 BTU/hr.

One Ton is 12,000 BTU/hr.
