Not really sure why I'm doing this. I guess mostly because I have no homework, all my friends are either busy, and one is in the hospital (eye issue) and I've got 6 hours before I turn in.
I'll go from oldest to newest, I guess. A few people on here liked the TV, so I'll post up what I have, some are for sale. (Gotta make room for more!
)
1929 Grigsby-Grunow Majestic Model 233.
1937 Philco 37-665 Made in June 1936.
Before my restoration:
And After:
It still needs the original legs (6 @ 5") but it looks good like this. Search is ongoing, though.
(2) 1937 RCA Victor 811K's.
1948 RCA Victor 8-T-241.
1948 Admiral 7C64W. Great-grandma's been in the family since new. very high end, plays AM/FM as well as a phonograph. Had to pay out the @$$ to get a FM radio before the late 50's.
1960's Fisher Record Player - Tube powered.
$5 + shipping it's yours. It doesn't weigh much.
1965 Panasonic AM Clock radio w/ Alarm. I use it daily.
1974 Sony Table Radio. Impressive frequency response, especially low end.
1974 Califone 1420K Record player. Awaiting a new needle. For sale, make offer.
1975 General Electric V639j Record player. Automatic, 4 speeds, it even senses how big the record is (7", 10", 12".) Never used until a few years ago.
1978 Sears All-In-One Stereo w/ 6 speakers. 2 tweeters, 2 mids, and 2 8" woofers. Daily driver when I'm working on the bench.
I think that's it,
I am selling 3 TV's too, if anyone wants one. $10 each.
Not a truly *extensive* collection, but diverse. More will come, I've already got 3 prospects on hold for now.
