ok you guy's seen the dodge I got now I need your Help. The other day i was going to stop at a light and the truck stall,I got it back home but it run's like crap, it coded 32 EGR any way to clean it just to see if this is the problem at a 125.00 bucks i just cant be changing every part on the truck. The EGR is only held on by two screws. Pull it off and take a look inside. If it is filled with carbon buildup and all black, then use some brake cleaner and clean some of it off. Let it dry before you re-install it.

If it is clean, then the internal valve is not working correctly and you may need to replace it. A EGR valve should only cost a few bucks to replace, which i would do long before I paid 125 just to clean it.

Also, the PCV valve is a crucial part of that system, and easily gets gummed up, so take a quick peek at that to make sure it is clean as well.

Then reset the computer by removing the POS+ cable from the battery and waiting a full 60 second before you reconnect. Drive it for about five to ten miles and see if the light comes back on and it is running a little better...


Thats the best i got not being able to see it myself, hope that helps.

Trouble Code 22 was the problems
11 Timing belt skipped 1 tooth or more from initial learned value, Intermittent loss of either camshaft or crankshaft position sensor, No crank reference signal detected during engine cranking
12 Direct battery input to PCM was disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles (normal)
13 No change in MAP from start to run
14 MAP sensor voltage too low
15 No vehicle speed sensor signal
17 Closed loop temp not reached or engine cold too long
21 02s sensor problem (oxygen sensor), upstream or down stream
22 Engine coolant temp sensor out of range
23 Intake air temp sensor out of range
24 Throttle Position sensor out of range
25 Idle air control motor circuits, target idle not reached (+/- 200),vacuum leak found
27 Injector control circuit
31 Evap purge flow monitor failure or evap solenoid circuit
32 EGR system failure
33 A/C clutch relay circuit
34 Speed control Solenoid circuits
35 Rad Fan control relay circuit
37 Torque converter clutch solenoid CKT or park/neutral switch failure
41 Generator field not switching properly
42 Fuel pump relay control ckt, Auto shutdown relay control ckt, No ASD relay output voltage at PCM, Fuel level sending unit volts out of range, Fuel level unit No change over miles
43 Multiple/ single cylinder misfire
44 Battery temp sensor volts out of range
46 Charging system voltage too low
51 Fuel system lean
52 Fuel system rich
53 Internal control failure
54 No Cam signal at PCM
55 End of error messages (If you get this only, no errors were found)
62 PCM failure SRI mile not stored
63 PCM Failure EEPROM write denied
64 Catalytic Converter Efficiency Failure
65 Power steering switch failure

To me... That looks like the harness that plugs into the sending unit.

yup coolant temp sensor I told the guy at the shop just fix's it but hell the sensor for me to buy it was 15.00, and they charge to tell me what was wrong, that was 70.00 and 38.00 for labor gezz. but didn't have time to deal with it myself later Jim
