My Experience with Back Country Accy Empty
PostSubject: My Experience with Back Country Accy   My Experience with Back Country Accy EmptyJuly 19th 2010, 1:41 pm

A few weeks ago, the drivers side step pad to my running board decided it didnt like life any more and flew off as I was going down the highway. Not a big deal, the part is pretty cheap. So I log onto back country's website and try to order the part. Not so fast. Your not able to order directly off there site. You have to fill out a request form, and they send you an e-mail with pay-pal information. So I fill it out, send it back.... and .... nothing. So I send them an e-mail the next day. No response. Wait a few more days, still nothing. Send another e-mail. A few days later I get an e-mail with a tracking #, and one word; 'Thanks'.

Not taking into account that the part took 6 days longer then they said it would to deliver. WTF happened to customer service?

its gone to the shitter.. least you got your part.. i have heard many horror stories lately about people getting the wrong parts or nothing at all for months.. ridetech.com is infamous for everything being on back order or sending the wrong parts but yet if you go on there website it says everything is in stock.. i dont order much online anymore because of it.. i go to my local speed shop to order all my parts so he has to deal with the headache but never once has anything been out of stock or late.. with the way it is these days the same guy that is building the parts is also handling the customer service.. hopefully something changes soon..
