| ok, yall know i sank that blame 78 of mine in the river last year and its still givin me a fit. i just walked a mile home cause i think the darn fuel pump went out, gotta go get it in a bit. but thats not the point here, the point is ever since i sank it, ive had no turn signals or backup lights. i replaced the fuse, and replaced the two way (?) flasher, cause it was busted. according to the fuse panel, the turn signals and b/u light are on the same circiut. i'm down to the switch in the cloumn as the cause, but i dont see where that would affect the b/u lights. the four way flashers still work by the way, just none of the turn signals or b/u lights. other than the switch, could it be anything else? also, how hard is it to replace? thanks guys. | |

| have you tried taking the lights apart and cleaning them really good.. i see in the pic that the back is more so sank then the front.. i know they are supposed to be waterproof conectors but one could have failed leading to a dead short.. water damage is hell and so is electrical so i dunno what to tell you man.. those are just some of the places i would look | |

| does it pop the fuse or relay when you turn them on? what else doesnt work or is it just in the rear.. i know there is a ground right at the end of the frame so try cleaning that really good and regrounding it and also the bulb sockets but i think we already covered that.. | |

| i dont think its blowin anything, when i turn the switch nothing happens, period. i would think if it was a bad ground, they would at least try to come on. im gunna try to work on it today if i can get motivated. | |

| if its a bad ground then the circut isnt complete and it wouldnt do anything.. just like have 2 switches and both of them have to be on for a light to work.. buddy of mine though he could rewire his upstairs bedroom and jumped wires off the hallway light to go to the bedroom.. needless to say he had to have his hallway light on to have his bedroom light on and needless to say i had to fix it.. he didnt think to check it till after all the drywall and stuff was done.. lol | |

| Well I guess the wires dried out or something, because the turn signals just decided to start workin on their own. Problem solved I guess lol | |
