project cheap trix

as yall know i recently got an old k10 for basically free and i wanna have some fun with it. basically its gonna be the red headed step child of my red truck. here is the starting platform..










i am gonna be doing some plowing with it over the winter but i have alot of parts laying around the shop that i can use to turn it into a nasty little monster. first off is the tires.. i still have a set of 4 michelin 445/65/19.5s at my storage yard so they are gonna be going on the truck when i get rims. i was eyeng up a set a the junkyard the other day though so that shouldnt be hard.





secondly is the axles.. i know the stock ones arent gonna last lost. probley not even long enough to mock up the suspension lift and cutting of the fenders but we shall see.. im thinking some dana 60s are in order but who knows what ill find at my yards. so on that note the hunting begins.. soon as i have all the parts gathered im gonna slap it all together.. untill then im driving it as is with the beat motor and all.. oh yeah thats another thing.. i have a nice little built 327 sitting in the back of my garage that i havent found a use for yet.. i think i just did.. lol

Sounds like a plan man. What is your end goal for the truck?

trails, trails and more trails.. it aint gonna be pretty thats for sure.. lol

its attached to the plow mount.. lol

Hey joe, what happened to this truck? Did you ever get anywhere with it?

it got junked by some jerk i used to have a shop with.. forged my name on the title when the junkyard came to get it... needless to say he got what was coming to him because he also scrapped my red c10 that had half my LS motor setup in it.. yeah he went to fail beaten and broken to say the least and he still owes me a crap ton of money court ordered..

Man I'd kill that guy..... That truck looked to be in pretty good shape. I remember your post about the red truck bein scrapped. Didn't kno he got more than one.
