If MyTruckSource.com were to start its own version of a truck of the month conest every month, would you as a member of the site, participate? Do you want to see a truck of the month contest on the site?

Yes I would partake in a TOTM I thought it was fun last time for those who where here.

-At the end of the year we could have a TRUCK SOURCE calender featuring each winner of each mth.
-Will each winner be featured on the TRUCK SOURCE.com Home page for that month until bumped by next months winner.
-Will each member that wins TOTM get a badge or ribbon under their Aviator indicating their achievement.

These are great ideas man! I'm all for it... I remember the last time we did this I was bummed when it got shut down though! I hope this one sucessed!!

You don't have to enter Actually.. Depending on the rules. You shouldn't be allowed to enter your own truck
All it takes is another member to Nominate your truck.

That's the way we did it before.

Wow, these are awesome suggestions! I am thrilled to see such enthusiasm towards this idea! The calander is a GREAT Idea! I need to update the programming I think to add icons for individual avitars.... But I will see what I can find... perhaps just a replacement avitar and special title rank for the month... but like I said, I can try to work this out...


I will get started on the prep work for this, and will let the community know when we can launch it.... Meanwhile.... we need to fill our personal galleries with pics of your pride and joys!

LOL I'm glad you like the ideas. Jr3382 I was thinkin, this would be a good opportunity to help promote and grow the website.
Even the sponsors can get a piece of the action and B part of the calender.

I noticed there is only 9 votes in-favor of having The Truck of The Month.
I would luv to see it happen but it doesn't look like we have enough active members to participate.
It could end up being the same trucks nominate over and over again.

Maybe we could start working on a 2010 calender. It's a little late but we can still make it happen.
We could start submitting our truck pictures... With all the submissions.
Truck Source Admin and Mods can decide on which 12 truck picture will go in the calender.
Sponsors can buy banner space. Then.. watch the site grow in 2010

I digging thoe ideas trux! Yeah that's the downfall even though we have like 80 some member only a handfull of us are really active on this site which is a bummer but I'm sure we'll get there eventually! Even though we're along ways away from being like pirate it'd still be sweet to see this site that big!

yeah, all the NJTS guys came on here and ran with their tails between their legs cause it's a PG site and not their personal playground

Keep in mind guys that while it may seem like not many people are active, a lot of guys log on just to read the posts.

i check the site almost everyday but often dont post everytime im on here. however i do enjoy the site
