friday night at the races.

went to the track friday night to see how the firebird was running.. had some decent all motor times. tranny didnt have first gear so the car didnt launch to good but low 13.s aint to bad.. the fastest time was 13.29 at 111 mph.. we got the first gear problem fixed so tuesday night or friday night we are going back.. the eclipse should be ready too so we gotta see what times that will run as well..

We have a days drive to find a track.

I can't wait for ours to open back up for Spring. Its 30 minutes away. And its a full 1/4. Seems there are plenty of 1/8 mile tracks around other places.

all i have to say is i hate eclipses.. finally got the thing all together.. fired it up and had idle serge cause the throttle body shaft seals are bad and has a crazy vacuum leak because of this.. once it starts to boost around 2k rpms it goes away but driving it is hell.. it is near impossible to tune like that so untill i rebuild the TB nothing will be updated with that..

It was running high 13s. The amount of smoke
that it put out was insane. Smoked out the whole burnout box. As far as the eclipse goes It will run right someday
