| a 5.0 is a turd compaired to the new mustangs from the factory.. yeah they can be fast but you got to dump a ton of money into the motor to make it fast.. thats why im putting a chevy 6.0 in one.. lol | |

| I think your confusing factory fast, and can-be-made-fast. The 5.0 could be made fast, but it was not fast at all from the factory. In fact, the lowest horsepower production V8 Mustang was the 78' 5.0 at 152HP. | |

| I know there is something to be said about that body style Mustang. Sure is lots and lots of them running very very good at our local track, the largest majority with 5.0's and the ones I really the like best, the one with Small block strokers. There is at least 2 with SBC, I know of. Not a stang fan myself, but my bro is. We seen a 5.0 run exceptionally well. Bro wanted to go check that one out since it was so BA. I told him oh BS, not wasting my time walking to the pits to see a darn stang. Glad I did. I made him eat some words when it had a SBC powerplant in it. | |
