All Transfer Cases have an assembly tag attached to it The Tag maybe bolted, riveted or a screwed on metal tag, or even a stick on paper tag.
The Transfer Case must be Identified by the assembly number listed on the Tag.

Batty a 203 will have a drainplug over the intermediate shaft on the case and the 205 will have a 3 bolt inspection cover over the intermediate shaft! That's the easiest way to tell the 2 apart!
