| Looking good! Those are good trucks, should serve you well. Is it a 4X4?
Also looks like it has a dual exhaust kit, hows it sound?
As far as problem areas, there is the dreaded vortec coolant leak. The intake manifold gaskets crack and cause a small coolant leak near the cylinder heads. Most of the leaks occur at the back of the motor, making it appear to be a head gasket, but it can happen anywhere. Best bet is to keep an eye on the coolant level. The radiators are also prone to cracking along the sides of the tanks, so be prepared to replace the radiator. Other then that, not any big problems I know of. These trucks are real workhorses.

| Thanks for the offer of takeing my rusty beat up 86 but it's getting the motor reworked, the new truck is not 4x4 I wish but the po did swap out the vtec motor with a older one but it sound great jim | |

| Hi merlin not yet but soon the wife is driving it to work. till I can find her a newer car then I get my truck back hopefuly she dont hit a deer or something later Jim | |
