Anyone here into plastic models?

I used to be into building Revell/Monogram and still have a ton left. Anyone here build these?

i use to build them alot.. i only have a few left now.. they all fell apart from years of moving and the glue not holding together.. the last one i did was my skylark.. i modeled it after what i wanted mine to look liek when it was done in real life..

I've built a bunch of larger 1/14 scale 1/18 scale big rigs

i have a whole bunch built in a box up stairs but they are all falling apart. one of my favorite past times

i build those and im pretty good at it, why, you want to get rid of some? lol, if free is the price, ill take a few, and ill cover the shipping costs. but i only want some if you have the 81-ish bronco, or the 78-79 bronco, the dually ford f350 or a ford truck of some sort, or a chevy or dodge, pretty much any truck, and if you got a old old mustang or camaro. the last model i built was a 57 bel air gasser drag car.

This is a great idea for a thread Robert. Did you have any more other then the awesome lookin Chevelle Wagon?
Here's a few more of my collection. I moved over to Tamiya models just cause of the attention to detail was so much better.
Everything in the pic were built from a box except for the loader on the trailer, it's a 1/16 diecast

I have a ton of them, some built, some not built. Everything from old Chevy Class 8 tractors to convertible Mustang pro street cars. Just need to get some pictures....

im sure some of you may remember my computer room.. lol.. its has about 25k worth of earnhart and other nascar cars in it..

The cab over is a Tamiya 1/14 scale Globeliner. I did it up as a Freightliner cab over.

Thanks Glenn. It took me about 8 years to build all those, plus the roughly 25 others I have scattered around the room.

That is probley the one hobby I want to get back into. Now that I have the tools and all to modify them I could come up with some crazy stuff

I haven't in a few years. I used to build them a lot....then keep em for a year or two...then have a demo derby with them.

HaHaHa That brings back some memories LOL I use to blow them up with firecrackers, and my kids do it now LOL

Never did anything THAT severe, lol.

Never really got into the model scene... I prefer the 1/1 scale projects!

It's cheaper to demo. derby your 1/16th scale cars, than your 1/1 scale ones!!

I think the reason I got into the RC models is because I could never hope to own these truck in this life time in a 1:1 scale
So this is the next best thing...
