First Official Date: Best Place?

ok guys, well, i started dating this girl and hopefully soon her parents will let me take her out on our first offical date. so i was thinking something very cheap, and romantic. i was thinking the beach or fishing, im not sure how much she would like fishing since she is a prep, but please, let me know the best place a girl would want to go on a date...

don't ever take a prep fishing for a date.. you'll kill yourself afterwards lol.. try somewhere nice and don't be too cheap about it, you don't want to make yourself look like an as$

well, she knows im poorer than crap, but i still want to do something nice with limited money going into it

Restaurants like Shoney's, Denny's, Golden Corral, etc are good. It doesn't say "I'm McDonalds cheap" but, seeing how you say she knows your tight for cash, a place like that will show her "I'm trying my best" She knows not to expect "Le Ritz" and a place like that is a nice place for mid-ground.



I don't know any local restaurants near you that fit into ones like Denny's and Golden Corral "status level" for lack of a better term.

olive garden is a nice place.. prices aren't overly expensive and she'll more than likely enjoy herself

nothing is wrong with fishing, she has never been though. i go fishing almost every day, and i want to take her fishing, but im afraid shes going to look at me like some kind of hick, im a redneck, sh knows that. so i think a nice dinner and then watch the sunset on the beach?? ok, well, heres a question. any bad dates from experience for me?

I say the beach is your best bet. I cant think of anything cheaper either lol

bad date experience #1.. NEVER HAVE SEX ON THE BEACH! #2.. never take a prep fishing for a first date, it's like taking a goth chick to a backstreet boys concert.. end result, a swift kick in the fun bag and a very irritated female

Well I'm not much of a romantic guy! See if I was to ever meet a prep that actually could stand being around me for 5 minutes then I'd tell her what you see is what you get! We're going to the the off road park I would like to see how she actually handled living a day in my life if she couldn't hack it well the there's the door! If by some chance we went to a resturant for a nice meal then it'd have to be someplace that serves beer not any fancy wine or anything like that just a bud light in a bottle no glass! That drives my nuts when a guy goes in a says I'll have a bottled beer with a frosted glass... WTF!


Anyway I'd say before you actually go on this date ask her what she'd like to do. Ask her would you like to fishing sometime or would rather have dinner or go to the beach you know crap like that. Alot of times trying to surprise a women just leaves you looking like a as$!!

I don't drink beer. I smoke a tobacco pipe, and cigars though. Albeit not often.

yankee born, rebel bred as they say, i wasnt born country, well, kinda, i have lived on a farm, when i moved down here i earned my redneck status, and i was born in CT, lol, now i live in florida, lots of fellow redencks that are my friends.

and gmc, tabacco pipe? lol, thats like old man stuff right there. i smoke cigarettes, but my new years resolution is to quit smoking all together, my girlfriend would kill me if she knew since i told her i quit when i really didnt, i have to quit though, its nothealthy for a 17 year old to be smoking, 'specially since i have been smoking since i was 12.
