| I've been watching closely the development of the new Mahindra trucks and a debate has been raging in my head. Would I ever buy one? Yes, its a foreign company, but these trucks will be built here, and no one makes anything comparable to them. Should my patriotic preference keep me from buying one? | |

| Honestly? I'd probably buy that little one for light duty stuff, mainly because of the gas mileage and so on. But, if an Indian company decided to build a full-size truck, I'd stick with American. If a foreign company fills a niche where no American company does, then I'd buy the foreign vehicle if I truly needed it. but when it tries to compete in a field that America has been fighting over for decades, I'll always support the mother country. | |

| no, absolutely not, mostly because i'm racist.. partially because i don't trust something built by a middle eastern country, which is also part of my racism i suppose lol | |

| I really wish a domestic automaker made something comparable. Then this wouldnt be a question in my mind. | |

| Oh, I'd buy one, or two.... depending on if they are 4x4..... Around the ranch, it sure would be nice to have a little tiny vehicle, that has a radio, heater, and a cab...... -40f is a little too cold to want to go check animals at 11:30 pm, riding a fourwheeler......If detroit would jump into the mini trucks, and provide one, then heck no...... but a half ton is too big for most of the stuff I do, and too small for the rest... thats why I have a 1ton dually, and a fourwheeler.. | |

| we looked at it..... the kubota is almost 12,500 dollars with what we need brand new..... the little mahindra is around 3,000...... i dont even pay 12000 for the fullsize chevys that we run.... doesnt make sense to run kubotas, john deeres, yamaha, polaris........ but this little truck, absolutely.... mahindra has been in the making of these little trucks for a while..... i wouldnt trust a full size from them..... i still dont trust toyota, or nissan full size trucks...... mahindra is offering a product that none of our great domestic companies even dare venture into. | |
