| Thats a manifold off of my 86 suburban, smog stuff. It had tubes out of every port that went to a Black box that was routed on both sides to the air cleaner??? Not sure what its purpose was but it had tubes that ran inside the exhaust ports on the heads? | |

Come on man, give me a little more credit. I could tell from the pictures it wasnt a diesel. The front bumper has no vent holes and if you look through the grill, the radiator is too small, and there is no intercooler I was hoping it was a 454. - semocoachworks wrote:

| ^^ agreed!! I think that the 350 and the 383 and the 400 are probably 3 of the most versatile SB they ever made true there is no replacement for displacement but with all the aftermarket support for these motors they can often times with enough time and money out do a BB with the same upgrades... Not to mention the SB's have such a larger RPM range the the BB's they can reach RPM the BB's only dream of! | |

| for most applications, i would take a sb over a bb...... my buddies hopped up 350s would generally waste my old 1985 454\th400 that is until it could get wound up | |

| bb scream if the rear is geared right... i can hold my own against most 350 street cars around here in my 454 c10.. its pushing the 600hp mark but with a 2.73 rear it can be a dog off the line or it just roasts the tires right off the rims.. lol. i cant wait to get a posi in it and really launch it.. | |
