well, here are a few of my other previous toys.. micro sprints.. i got into this with my dad and grandpop when i was about 14, got my first car when i was 16. they're powered by small motors like CR125's, RS125's(doubt many of you know what an RS is lol), CR250's, and even 600cc street bike motors. they're tons of fun and very competitive, but they'll put 1 hell of a dent in your wallet!
my first car, 94 Stallard. right hand drive, powered by the meanest little stock bore/stroke CR125 you'll ever hear of. it layed down an impressive 41.6hp on the dyno, nearly 9hp more over stock, with just port work and shaving the head.
later that year(2005) i found a sweet deal on a Dillinger 600 with a blown motor.. payed 500 bucks for it and $1100 for a worked to the balls 98 honda F3. i don't have any pics of me running the car, but here are a couple of when i first got it and 1 of when it was being finished. but i basically ran the car 4 times and turned over the drivers seat to a good friend who raced in PA in trade for his 2 125's, a 94 RS125 and 01 CR125 4mm stroker.
over the off season (05-06) my dad took over the #5 car and i bought a much newer, left hand car which is what all 95+ cars are. This is my 2001 viper, powered by the 01 CR125 with a 4mm stroker crank that i got in trade for letting the other guy drive my car. i rebuilt it and played with the porting and head a little and it put down a mere 44.3hp on the dyno but had more bottom end torque to pull it off the corners hard. i'm still kicking myself for selling this car, i'd love to have it back.
towards the end of the 06 season, my grandpop picked up a car and had put it together just to prove a point to my dad. in 07 i took over the car and ran it for my grandpop. i put my 4mm stroker on it and ran 1/2 the season with it, until swapping it out for my dad's old .080 over big bore 99 CR125. the car was a far cry from my viper and i couldn't get it to run nearly as hard, so off to the auction block it went.
late 07, i bought this car. it's a 98 RTS. was going to run my 01 CR on it, but eventually sold the car after i learned the front clip was bent.
if you look at the pic above, you can see the frame rails curve to the left(left of picture)
as of now, i'm on the hunt for a new roller. i still have my first motor sitting on the bench in my dad's shop needing a rebuild.. so once i find another viper in my price range, i'll be back in the seat for sure
