| Friday was pretty nice out, so I spent the day working on the Chevy, and fiddle dicking with my Ranger. I couldn't do much to it since I wasn't able to pick up the heads, but I did paint the grille on the Chevy: At first, I wasn't too sure I liked it, but it's growing on me. Main reason is because it's different, lol. I see a ton of white Silverado's every day, and most of the ones with any mods done have the stock grille or grille inserts. Since I'm cheap, I figured a couple coats of some Rustoleum and about 4 coats of clear will make it purdy! Now that I painted the grille, I REALLY like the black bow tie, lol. And as you can see, I also need to do something about my rusty headache rack. Planning on lining it, my rear bumper, and the lower part of the truck (body line down) with gray Herculiner. I'll be getting the heads for the Ranger on Wednesday at the soonest and Friday at the latest, but still won't have it put together for a couple of weeks. I've got about 3 cords of firewood to split next weekend, and I need to rebuild my work trailer badly. But, expect some resurrection pictures of it within the month! | |

| looks good.. there is something about them front ends that i love but at the same time i hate em.. from one angle they look great but from another they look out of proportion..
if your gonna go with the gray herculiner did you ever thing about ditching the chrome bumpers and getting the paint match ones.. then you could roll them as well... upper and lower valance too.. it was 130 bucks for a new paintable bumper and valances from certi-fit.. you can use your chrome one but you would have to grind up the chrome pretty good and if it didnt look right your screwed.. least if you buy the paintable one and dont like it you can just bolt the chrome one back on.

| I thought about it, but we'll see how it looks after the liner. I saw a bumper on eBay for about the same price, so it maybe happen. The only reason I am doing the back bumper is because of this: | |

Haha, yeah, Flint and DD love to hang out when I'm working on the truck. Most of the time they like to run around, but I dropped the tail gate and they jumped up there so there they stayed until I was done, lol.

379? Thanks guys! My trucks body style and my dads trucks body style (the body style before mine) are my two favorite ones. I can't decide which one I like better, though. I do like the interior of mine better as far as like the steering wheel and gauge arrangement goes. Pretty much identical though, lol. My dad doesn't know it yet, but I'm going to paint his grille one of these days. It's something to do in between my boredom stages, lol. Here's his truck: He's looking for an older Chevy to mount the plow on since when we took it off, we found part of his frame had been cracked. I told him he shouldn't have used his truck for it and just should have mounted it on an old Bronco we have out on the property, but he was being stubborn since he's got heated seats, lol.
