Hey John, did you ever end up putting an exhaust on it?

well sorta but not really lol. I had the muffler come off during a high speed turn, so now it is unmuffled lol. Sounds fine at idle, and like a 2stroke detroit at high rpms, but everything in btwn sounds waaaaaaay to ricey. Gotta put the muffler back on when i get some free time.

Flowmasters are about the only thing that ive really heard that sound good on a 4.2........ideally i want no V6 sound whatsoever, but thats near impossible short of swapping in a V8 lol. I think a 460 would be awesome in my f150

well heres an update to this. I hacked off my 4 cats and man that was the best thing i ever did for power. MPGs went in the shitter for a few days and then i think the computer compensated for it, nowits back about where it was. Ive been running around dumping right off the manifolds for the last week or so. Hurt my hand so i cant get the exhaust put back together til it gets better. Ill tell ya it lost all its rice sound the way it is now. Cant wait to hear what it sounds like with those cats out. cant believe their was FOUR of those bastards on there lol
