| Wouldn't surprise me.
It's for the "men" who drive around in little eco cars, but want to be able to haul some plants or something and feel like a "man" when zipping around traffic. | |

| Only way it would happen is if they get 40-50mpg and is sounds as if that is way off. People around here are using electric golf carts now to run errands like post office, a trip to the store for a few groceries and even back and forth to work if its close enough and all surface streets. A law was passed in OK, as long as they have proper lighting, turn signals, seat belts etc, and can reach speeds of 35mph, they can be street legal and people are using them here now. I think it was a good move. For those who can get by with using them, make fuel cheaper for those of us who can't being the cost of fuel usually decided by supply and demand. Demand goes down, so the does the price. The big point to get the law to pass in OK, was reduced emissions, because on short trips when your vehicle does not even get to operating temp, the computer never gets into closed loop operation to run clean emmisions. Being a short trip, people are more than likely going to use the golf cart type vehicle and not pollute the air. I have also seem moms taking the kids to school on one too, and never leave the resiential streets. I think its great. But those little micro truck will never make it at that kind of mpg. There are 2 of those running around town here too. | |

| Golf Cart TYPE vehicles. More like a fancy golf cart. Some are pretty cool. You can get lift kits for them, bigger tires etc. Some even look like little Jeeps. Then you can get like plastic enclosure kits to keep you warm in the winter. OH, and they must also have a windshield in place. | |

| isnt it demand goes down price goes up? cause less demand, the co. needs to make their money so prices go up. right? i think so. | |

| Nope. The demand for something goes up, means its needed, or more of it is needed, therefore the price goes up. This is why usually in spring/summer months, or holiday weekends like Labor Day and Memorial Day, we see fuel prices go up. People are traveling and vactioning in Spring/Summer so demand is higher. Winter months, people don't travel, fuel usuage is down, so prices go down since fuel is usally sitting around in tanks in abundance with lower demand. | |

| Well you are part right too. Rembmer several years back gas got down below a $1 a gallon, like .80 cents a gallon. The oil companies started cry babying they weren't making any money, so Opec cut production to run prices back up. We like to think it really is supply and demand, but truely its not. Its politics and the gubment. | |

| You know the old saying "You can't please all the people all the time, but you can please some of the people some of the times" So a little truck like this will probably please some of the people, but not all of the people. | |
