Not much to look at but thought i would share

Well this is a project that was set off to the side lol It will get redone when I get outta high school. This was my grandpas truck 85 Scottsdale 4x4 shortbox from the factor had a 305 gpa had a 350 crate goodwrench dropped in it. Tranny is shot. This truck pulled a livestock trailer most of its life. 1/2 ton pullin a gooseneck sound funny but it did it. I dont think is spent a day inside in its life till we got it. Were bout the 4th owners. Trucks been pretty much locally owned. Truck means alot to me since it was my grandpas.....And now i jus realized after typin this its not lettin me post pics

oh wow thats in worse shape than i thought. You definitely have your work cut out for ya. You gonna do a total resto, or jus fix it up and make it look nice? Make sure ya post lots of pics whatever u do

definitly needs some body work on the driver side.. bust out the bondo and window screen. lol. nah a new door and bedside would do that thing justice for sure..

tranny and body is major work that needs done. the 350 only has prolly 20K on it

@ Bronco: It is funny how we all have so many different expressions for different things. In the couple of mths I've been here, I've pu a couple of new ones myself. Bulldogged is new for me LOL.
Up here we use Short Box also A Short Deck would be a pu with no box but a home made flat bed on the back.

Very cool truck, definately worth fixing.

Must be a northern thing actually because ill. isn't to far from michigan and canada is farther north then mich but here we also say short box! And also the bulldogged thing makes me chuckle... And to be honestly until a few years ago when my buddy moved back here from florida I didn't know what meant either I used to say the truck butt dragged! lol

Nice but for rust that look serious. Just go to junkyard find good door to replaced that one.


for tranny I am sure it easy you can rebuilt it. Just get rebuilt kit from auto zone or advanced like $90


Who own super duty with ladder rack? what work you do? I was consider get ladder rack but still think.

thats my dads truck. Hes an electrician when hes not workin at the prison

found a pic of the passenger side the day we got it lol it looks sharp here but i think its the pic cuz idr it ever lookin this good
