Still a nice picture. Nothing like a hard working Diesel.

Nice truck bud!! Is that hard wood side boards? That's what they look like but at first glance I suspected cedar side boards and those are worth money man... But That's a pretty good load though... How much is there? I'm gonna guess about 10 face cord?

Well about 5 bundles get loaded on the trailer, and 1 bundle is about 1 face cord. We have about 3 loads, so 15 face cords of wood. Not all of it is pictured. Its all soft wood for the most part. We get it for free from a local saw mill. You just leave your trailer there, and they'll load it right up for ya.

Very nice!!! Soft wood is good too... I guess any wood for free is good! I'm in the logging industry so I kinda have a thing for timber!! Quick funny story about free wood... my boss was looking in the paper the other day and there was an add for free standing timber u cut u haul take as much as you want they wanted it all gone... When my boss showed up it turned out to be they wanted the lot cleared and just wanted the wood gone so in came the equipment and out came the trees ended up being close to 200 cord of red pine and about 40,000 board feet of bass wood and elm! And the land owner had no idea that they could've sold that much lumber to a sawmill and they about fell over when my boss walked up to them and said he just couldn't take all this wood for free and handed them a $1200 check! And the company still pocket mad profit off that!!!

P.S. Gotta love free wood!!

Wow the bossman got a good deal on that one. The only thing I dont like about our free wood, is that it burns too fast. Really need to get some hardwood, so itll burn longer.

Yeah that's problem with soft maple and bass wood popple... Now cherry red oak elm and hard maple that's the wood you need for fire wood!!

I've been able to get some dead elm from my grandpa. He's clearing some land for farming, so I pretty much get as much wood as I can haul.
