my steering box has about 3/4 of a turn of slop both ways and a leak around the seal should i slap a new one in for 200 bucks or should i try to tighten up the one i already have?

well if you have the money and know how then why not.. if your just lookin to get by then replace the leaky seal and tighen her up a little bit..

it depends on why it has slop.. if it's in the internals, REPLACE IT!
